Hassop Hall, another firm favourite of mine! I love shooting here, the house and staff are fantastic (and it’s not too far home 🙂 )
Danielle was getting ready at Hassop Hall so I made my way out there in the morning. It looked like it was going to be a gorgeous day and the mood in the room was very relaxed. I spent a while just observing the preparations, all very calm. The rooms at Hassop are great for bridal preps, so much light and so much light. I just managed to photograph Danielle’s dress going on before I had to get to the church.
Dore church is a lovely little church, nestled in the village of Dore, in Sheffield, just on the border of the Peak District. I met James and spent a few minutes getting a couple of relaxed formals with the ushers and best man. The rest of the time was just observing, capturing the real essence of the wedding day!
After the ceremony, on the way to Hassop, we stopped on Froggatt to capture a couple of portraits with the glorious Hope Valley in the background. We even managed to get to the hall before the guests!
Hassop Hall was, as usual, beautifully set up fro the wedding, drinks and canapés on the lawn followed by the wedding breakfast served in the main house.
I only took a few photographs of Danielle and James during the drinks reception, the sun was too harsh, instead we managed to sneak away just after the meal when the light was perfect, as you can see!
The photographs below are a selection of my favourites from the day, enjoy!
