Liz and Dan’s wedding was another wet one! As you can see it didn’t dampen the spirits

Hassop Hall is one of my favourite local venues, I never tire of working here, the staff are fantastic and obviously the setting is perfect…even in the rain!

Liz had organised her venue styling with Julia at Go Glorious, it’s the first time I’ve worked with her and I have to say the room looked fantastic. Catherine, my friend at Petalis had done a fantastic job (as always) with the flowers so the overall effect was stunning.

Gillian was getting ready a few minutes away from Nafferton and this is where I started my day. Once I’d got all I needed I headed off to the church to meet Robin and the boys.

After the ceremony it was off to a fabulous marquee on Gillian’s father’s farm.

The ceremony was at the fabulous York Minster, with an incredible choir, Jerusalem sent shivers down your spine! Champagne was then served in the Chapter House followed by the reception at Castle Howard. Just driving towards Castle Howard is breathtaking, it has to be one of the finest Stately homes in the UK.

It was a great day with a lot going on, here are a selection of my favourites from the day;

The ceremony was held at the amazing Bolsover castle and from there we went back into Sheffield to Whitley Hall for the reception, everyone was greeted with mulled wine which set the Christmas mood.
