Lizzy & Kor were married at All Saints Church, Ecclesall on an unusually gorgeous Spring day! I met Kor at the church where and photographed the happy scene as guests from far and wide arrived with big smiles. The sun was still shining when Lizzie pulled up in her fabulous vintage Jaguar.

After the wedding they headed off to Chatsworth for their reception, sun still shining although it was getting cold now. Lizzie never mentioned the cold on our trip round the gardens in the golf buggy. As you can see it was worth the effort.

My job was to cover Jordan while Rob photographed Emma. We joined forces at the church, the beautiful St. Peter’s at Hascombe.

The reception was held at Gate Street Barn in Bramley, just outside Guildford.

It was a fantastic day, we even managed to stay dry!

Here are a selection of my favourites from the day, enjoy!

Vicki and Joel came all the way from Sweden to get Married at Hassop Hall in Derbyshire.

I met Vicki and the girls at Hassop where they were staying and getting ready. The rooms are really good for getting ready shots…lots of room and nice features.

The boys were meeting at the Eyre Arms, which is only a 5 minute walk from Hassop this gave me a chance to get some shots of Joel and a few of the guests enjoying a pre wedding drink before getting back to photograph the girls.

The ceremony was held in the Ballroom at Hassop, and then the guests headed back over to the main house for the reception.

I had a great time, and as you can see so did everyone else! I’ve selected a few of my favourite images here, the full gallery can be viewed in the client area of the main site.

A beautiful crisp February day (read freezing ) snow on the ground, beautiful…

Hannah got ready at home and when I arrived the house was full, the atmosphere was great, lots of people buzzing about doing this and that. I spent a little time photographing Hannah’s gorgeous dress, shoes and the flowers. Catherine from Petalis had done an amazing job on the flowers, as always! Once the girls were ready I just had time to get a few shots of Hannah in her dress before heading to Fulwood Church to meet the boys.

After the ceremony it was a short drive to Hassop Hall for the reception, Hassop Hall looked great in the snow, I’ve seen Hassop in every month of the year and it always looks amazing, the staff are fantastic as well.

Once everyone had a drink Hannah, Paul and me braved the cold for 20mins to get some portraits in the grounds, which I think look amazing

My last wedding of 2011 (sorry I’m a little late with the blog post!)

Whitley Hall is walking distance from my house so it’s always nice to shoot here, plus the fact that it’s a fabulous venue

The first shots of the day were Chris and best man…Chris riding around on a pair of vintage bikes, they’ve ridden bikes together for years and wanted some photo’s together.

Ali and Chris were both getting ready at the hall so it was easy to get shots of them both in the build up to the ceremony, which was also held at Whitley Hall.

They day was a very relaxed affair and everyone seemed to have a great time, we even managed to get everyone out in the freezing cold and rain for a group shot!

A beautiful crisp Winters day in Derbyshire, the perfect setting for a wedding!

I turned up to Hassop Hall in glorious Winter sunshine, the wind was bitter but the views were amazing. Jane and Will were both getting ready at Hassop so I managed to get a few shots of the boys in the grounds before they set off for the pub! Jane had a lovely big room to get ready in with her gorgeous dress hung in the perfect spot for a photo!

The wedding ceremony was held just down the road in Holy Trinity Church, Ashford in the Water, I got down in plenty of time to make sure I got some shots of Will in the pub and then walking to the church.

Although the day was cold we did manage to get outside for a few portraits in Hassop’s grounds, at this point in the day the light was amazing and I got some fantastic shots of Jane and Will, and they didn’t look cold either

Emma and Ben had chosen to have their wedding here after Emma had scoured the area for something, well a bit different.

The ceremony was at 4pm so we had no day light after but we managed to catch the sky before it went black for some lovely relaxed portraits.

The amazing wedding cake was created by the very talented Abbie and Darren from Butterflies and Angel’s, as well as looking incredible it tasted fantastic!

Lucy and Shaun’s wedding was always going to be an interesting one. Shaun is an officer in the RAF and had organised a traditional sword party. Lucy’s dress was a one off Ian Stuart number with matching bolero from The Design Room, Abingdon, Emma from Orchis had done an amazin job with the flowers(as usual)…and The Maynard!

It was a beautiful Autumn day which gave us a chance to nip up to Padley Gorge for a few photo’s, Lucy had her wedding Hunters especially! We had to contend with the wind but got some fabulous shots.

Lizzie & Chris were married in the fabulous St. John’s church in Ranmoor, which was about two minutes from where Lizzie was getting ready so kept things easy. After photographing the girls I met Chris in The Ranmoor Inn, a popular pre wedding pub just over the road from the church.

After the ceremony it was off to Kenwood Hall for the reception where I managed to get 15 minutes with Lizze & Chris between the heavy rain. Kenwood hall has lovely grounds and the Autumn colours looked brilliant.

The speeches were great, three best men certainly main for some interesting photographs!
