Today’s new born portrait session.

Lindsay & Lee are one of my wedding couples from 2009. Congratulations!

Freya is 11 days old and was a fantastic model for a couple of hours.

If you are thinking of having a session bear in mind that babies need to be photographed within the first 2 weeks of being born. After 2 weeks old it’s best to wait until they are about 6 months. Please contact the studio if you have any questions or would like to book a session.

Amelia was 6 days old when these were taken, she was the perfect subject…sleeping the whole way through.

If you are thinking about a newborn session bear in mind the shoot needs to take place within the first 2 weeks. After this babies are a little more restless and demanding so it’s best to wait then until at least 6 months when they are sitting and smiling.

I’m starting to shoot a few more portraits in the studio now, the British weather is just so……well wet!

I’m moving into a new studio soon which will have a lot more room, it’s hopefully going to ready in about 6 weeks, watch this space!

Grandchildren

Every year my mum asks me to take a photograph of each of her grandchildren, that’s my two, Maddie and Rory and my sisters girls Tabitha and Genevieve. She has a four aperture frame in the living room which she puts the latest photo’s into. Here’s this years set, taken today when we went for coffee at mum and dad’s.

This was Jenny and Andrew’s pre-wedding shoot, another shoot in the Botanical Gardens, I would recommend a visit! We had a chat about the wedding and then had a wander and took a few relaxed portraits.

I met Michelle and Simon with their children, Harry and Elle at the tearoom in Elsecar Heritage centre to go over the final details of the wedding. Once we’d had a good chat we headed off for a very cold walk round the park…………..
