Hype Dance are a dance academy and touring group based at the Leadmill in Sheffield and I was asked to photograph the final night of their latest production, Routes, which is a Hip Hop dance, theatre production (correct me if I’ve got that wrong Anna!) These are a selection of shots from the night.

So fast forward on to last week and the all the front of house is finished and I was asked to photograph the opening night, this was a staff and friends occasion to test the facilities. It was really nice to be there for the last and first nights! These are a few of the photo’s from the reception, foyer and bar. The shots from the auditorium will be in the press this week.

I think I was 14 or 15 when I first went, it was at Olympia in London, I’ve not missed a year since.
We always go down on the train so we can have a few beers and we always eat in the same restaurant, just outside New Street station, although over the years it has alternated between Chinese and Indian, this year it was Chinese!
Every year I go down with my Dad and we always take a couple of friends and we just have a chilled out day looking round and stopping off for the odd beer.
