Hi, my name is James and I'm a photographer based in Yorkshire covering commisions all over the UK and further afield. I specialise in shooting relaxed documentry style weddings, fabulous portraits for families, businesses and magazines, stylish commercial work and sports editorial.

This blog follows both my professional and personal life. It features pictures from the amazing weddings I've shot through to the places I've been. It's a bit more informal than the main site and should hopefully give you an insight into who I am and what I'm about.

Gill & Dave, wedding | Eckington Church & Mosborough Hall

My day started when I met Dave and his best man, Phil in Savills on Chapel Walk. They were booked in for a traditional wet shave, chance for some interesting photo’s.

Once finished at Savilles it was off to Aston Hall where Gill and the girls had the penthouse suite booked for the preparations. It was all very calm when I arrived and got straight into photographing a few details, Gill’s fabulous Ian Stuart dress, Nine West shoes and jewelry.

From Aston Hall it was off to Eckington church for the wedding and then up to Mosborough Hall for the reception. Even the kids had been catered for with a bouncy castle!

My day finished as evening got into full swing with The Dizzy Band.
