I’ve been lucky enough to shoot quite a few weddings at Hodsock Priory this year. It’s a beautiful family owned house in the Nottinghamshire countryside with magnificent gardens. The staff are great to work with and there is always a calm relaxed atmosphere.

Debra was getting ready in the bridal suite which is great for photography, very large and grand with plenty of light. There are also really good places to photograph the dress, shoes and all the little details.

Once Debra was ready she came down through her guests, who lined the stairs and corridors and clapped her into the ceremony!

After the ceremony I took the opportunity to take Debra and Neil round the grounds for some relaxed portraits (I wanted to show off her beautiful Suzanne Neville dress!). Although I’ve photographed at Hodsock a few times the gardens are so nice it’s always easy to find some different shots.
